On New Years day, 2013, Dr. Mike wrote letters to each of the Attorney Generals of the states directly involved in the Deepwater Horizon Crisis.

Because of the impact on Medicaid and other social program that have been given the responsibility of caring for many of the victims of the spill, the various states have been burdened with expenses that should be paid by BP.
It behoves each Attorney General to investigate allegations of illnesses being caused by the oil spill and to collect money from BP to pay for the expenses they have incurred in treating these victims.
